Recap

The 2024 Winter Games was the final Civilization VI tournament before the transition to Civ VII.

The tournament featured an Advantage System where preliminary game victories earned strategic bonuses. Brook won Game 1 and earned The Cartographer (Major), allowing him to select the map type for the Championship Game after opponents removed one option. Conrad won Game 2 and earned The Strategist (Major), enabling him to ban one civilization from each opponent's remaining pool while they each banned one from his.

Advantages were applied in order of precedence before the Championship Game, with Brook selecting the map type and Conrad banning civilizations from the remaining pools. Conrad's Kublai Khan won a Science Victory on turn 175, but bylaw 3.1 bars a third term in a row as Commissioner, so the win went to the second-place player. Romero won the Championship Game with Trajan.
